Lono Bristol hails from Brooklyn, NY and has had quite the journey to get to the point he is at today creatively. Embracing all the ups and downs that come in life is a key factor in success and sanity, especially in current times, and Lono has a full grasp of that. He’s learned that it’s about the journey not the destination and with that he’s been able to not only put his musical talents on display, but also pay homage to his Haitian roots and uplift his community. His crown jewel in music was originally on the production side as he first gained early traction through his work with BeastCoast group The Underachievers, but has since left engineering school and took on being an artist full time. Fans have gravitated to Lono’s albums Love & Drugs at the Masquerade and Inauguration Day, as well as his singles “Empty Bottles,” “Drunk at the Ball,” and “Used to Do.” The quality releases have gained him coverage and artists of the week placements from major publications including The Source.
